To those who say, "The Bible is Sufficient" and therefore shun (1) academic study of the Bible using other non-biblical texts, (2) modern psychology, (3) modern science, (4) and are just generally anti-intellectual or pseudo intellectual... My classmate asks:
"I guess those leaders would happily undergo surgery by a doctor who used the all-sufficient Bible as their only textbook in medical school? And I guess their mother's favorite apple pie recipe was found somewhere in Leviticus?"
Worth asking one of these "Bible is Sufficient" types if you run into them.
